We are proud to share that our school has been awarded a Community Schools Partnership Program Grant from the California Department of Education. This important equity investment will allow us to strengthen the support we provide to students and families across our district over the next five years 2024 to 2029.

Our implementation plans are guided by the four pillars of the California Community Schools Framework:

  • Integrated Student Supports: Expanding access to social-emotional services, mental health care, and connections to community resources.
  • Active Family and Community Engagement: Building stronger relationships with families and local partners to ensure that student success is a shared priority.
  • Collaborative Leadership and Practices: Ensuring that staff, students, families, and community members all have a voice in shaping the programs and supports we provide.
  • Expanded and Enriched Learning Time and Opportunities: Offering meaningful before- and after-school programs, enrichment activities, and summer learning opportunities.

Through these efforts, our goal is to create a welcoming and supportive school environment where all students and families feel valued, connected, and equipped to thrive.

Do you want to get involved? We are excited to build the Advisory Council that will guide this important work in Year 2 (2025-2026).
