To get children excited about reading, the LA Dodgers Foundation partnered with the LA Dodgers to launch LA Reads in 2017. Camp BOOK IT! is a free summer reading and activity program to keep kids engaged throughout the summer months. The best part? Kids participating in Camp BOOK IT! will be able to earn a free one-topping Personal Pan Pizza® for meeting their reading goals each month.

Home Depot DIY Kids Workshops Kit
If you are looking for more hands-on summer crafts for kids, Home Depot gives out free DIY Kids Workshops Kits from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on the first Saturday of the month. It’s on a first-come, first-served basis and are gone quickly. If you missed the handout period, you’ll either have to wait until the following month or order a Kids Workshops Kit ($5 – $10) from HomeDepot.com
