Our Downey Unified website has a brand new look and we are excited for our students and parents to explore it. While our website’s changes aim to improve everyone’s user experience, we know these changes can take some getting used to. Follow us on a quick tour of the new site to see where all of your go-to links are now located.

On the new Downey Unified homepage, the first thing you’ll see under our navigation menu is an image rotator with links to our latest district updates. Hover over the image to click on the left and right-hand arrows that will allow you to browse all of the rotator announcements.
DUSD Stats
As you scroll down the homepage, you’ll find quick fun facts about the district like our graduation rate and course offerings.
Find Your School Site
To get to your school’s website, scroll down to the section below the DUSD stats and select the school’s level: elementary, middle, high, or adult school. From there you’ll be able to choose your school from a list of campuses.
DUSD Family Quick Links
As you continue down the page, you’ll find DUSD Family Quick Links. Here, you’ll be able to easily access the Parent Connect Portal, an application for Free and Reduced Meals, the district calendar and a downloadable school year calendar.
Footer Quick Links
Other quick links can be found on the footer at the very bottom of the homepage. Here you can find links for information about Board of Education meetings, food services, legal policies and more.

In the main navigation bar, the first dropdown contains information about Downey Unified.

This dropdown provides access to the district calendar, including Board of Education meetings and school holidays. Families will also want to check out the Parent Resources page which includes information for registration, important documents and helpful forms for insurance, health immunizations and more.
COVID-19 Updates
For COVID-19 updates, families can find a link to the page at the very top of the website, above the main navigation bar.
This page will include new announcements related to coronavirus procedures, updates on meal distributions, options for free and low-cost internet, and information for distance learning and our Return to School Plan.
