This week at Warren is one of the most meaningful moments of our school year. Future Freshmen Night and our Open House Showcase give families the chance to walk through our campus, meet our staff, explore programs, and feel the sense of pride that makes Warren such a special place to call home.

The evening begins with a warm welcome in the gym, where our incoming ninth grade Bears and their families gather to hear what awaits them in high school. From there, the night opens up across campus. Families step into classrooms, talk with teachers, meet coaches, and visit booths that highlight every corner of our school. The goal is simple. We want every family to leave with a better understanding of the opportunities available and the supportive environment their students will be stepping into.

Our CTE pathways fill the gym and several classroom with student work, demonstrations, and displays that introduce programs like Audio Music Production, Culinary Arts, Film and Video Production, Engineering, Biomedical Science, Game Programming, Building and Construction, and so much more. As a growing part of the Warren experience, CTE continues to expand with the addition of Child Development and Business beginning in fall 2026.

Academic departments stationed throughout campus are excited to welcome families and answer questions about AP, honors, English, Math, Science, LOTE, Business, PE, Social Science, and Visual and Performing Arts. Meanwhile, the stadium becomes a lively hub for Athletics, with coaches and student athletes ready to talk about Warren’s sports programs and help future Bears picture themselves joining a team.

Families who are planning ahead for college can stop by the library for the Dual Enrollment and Early College Program session, offered in English and Spanish, to understand how students can start earning college credits while still in high school.

To help make the evening accessible for everyone, our Bear Cub Club offers free childcare for children ages 4 to 10. The program is hosted by our CTE Education Careers students and gives younger siblings a fun place to learn and play while parents explore the showcase.

For our current Warren Bears in grades 9-12, the night is also full of helpful sessions. Counselors, AP teachers, our Bears University Seminar (BUS) team, and the College and Career Center all host meetings designed to guide students through what comes next in their academic journey.

The night is filled with movement, exploration, and connection. It is a celebration of who we are as a school community and a look ahead at all that is possible for our Bears.
