Warren High School proudly celebrates a major milestone in student achievement with our first annual Mission Reclassification Dinner. During the 2025–2026 school year, an incredible 48 students successfully reclassified as English proficient, representing 22% of our Multilingual Learner population and surpassing local and state averages by nearly 10%. In addition, nearly half of our Multilingual Learner students met their individual English Language Proficiency growth goals, once again exceeding both local and statewide benchmarks.
This special evening brought together families, students, teachers, and district leaders to honor the dedication, perseverance, and growth demonstrated throughout the year. The event highlighted not only academic success but also the personal journeys behind each student’s achievement.
Mission Reclassification reflects more than language proficiency. It represents the powerful transition from bilingual to biliterate, where students build confidence, embrace new opportunities, and prepare for success in college, career, and beyond. One student shared, “I’m no longer afraid to speak in English and make a few errors. It’s better for me to learn through trying than remain stuck in my comfort zone.” This powerful statement captures the courage and resilience seen across our campus.

At Warren, we believe bilingualism is not a barrier. It is a superpower. Biliteracy opens doors, connects cultures, and creates future opportunities. This year, our students proudly demonstrated what it means to achieve the mission of reclassification, showing the strength, pride, and excellence that define Warren High School.
