This week, we proudly welcomed our very first cohort of Warren Scholars, the Class of 2030. As our inaugural group, these exceptional students are not only beginning a new academic journey, they are setting the standard for what it means to be a Warren Scholar and paving the way for future generations.
From Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses to leadership opportunities and college and career pathways, these students are stepping into a program built on ambition, innovation, and academic excellence.

The Warren Scholar Pathway is designed to provide students with a rigorous and purposeful academic experience that prepares them for success at the nation’s most competitive universities. Through a carefully curated course sequence that includes Cerritos College classes, Honors coursework, and Advanced Placement courses, scholars develop both the depth and rigor needed to thrive in demanding academic environments.
A defining feature of the program is the opportunity to earn the AP Capstone Diploma, a prestigious distinction that highlights students’ skills in research, critical thinking, and communication. Upon graduation, scholars are also recognized with exclusive regalia, distinguishing them as some of Warren’s highest-achieving students.
In addition to academic excellence, the pathway offers dedicated, personalized support through every stage of the college application process. Students receive guidance in college essay writing, scholarship opportunities, and application completion, ensuring they are fully prepared to pursue their goals beyond high school.
