The 2026 robotics season has already become a defining chapter for the Warren Warbots, with record breaking performances and historic milestones that highlight the team’s growth and competitive strength.
This past weekend marked one of the most significant achievements in team history. At our most recent event, the Warbots completed the competition undefeated across all matches and were crowned event champions on Sunday, March 29. This was the first time the team has ever gone undefeated at an event, reflecting consistent execution, strong alliance play, and disciplined strategy throughout the weekend.
This victory also led to another program first. During the 2026 season, the Warren Warbots earned two blue banners, marking the first time the team has won multiple event championships in a single season. Achieving this milestone demonstrates not only peak performance at one competition, but the ability to sustain excellence over time.
From a performance metrics standpoint, this season has been equally historic. For the first time at an official event, the Warbots finished with the highest Offensive Power Rating at the competition, showcasing the robot’s ability to consistently contribute to scoring across matches. Alongside this, the team also recorded the highest Event Performance Average at an official event for the first time, confirming the robot’s impact in autonomous, teleoperated, and endgame play.

According to Statbotics, the Warbots currently hold a 31-2-0 record for the 2026 season. The team’s total EPA sits at 195.3, with an Auto EPA of 42.0, a Teleop EPA of 108.2, and an Endgame EPA of 45.1. These numbers reflect a balanced and highly effective robot capable of performing at every stage of a match.
On a larger scale, the Warren Warbots are currently ranked #10 in California and #48 worldwide by EPA, placing the team among the top competitors out of thousands globally. The team is also ranked #4 in California by district points, an impressive standing even as not all teams have completed all of their scheduled events.
This season represents more than just wins and rankings. It highlights the dedication, collaboration, and innovation of the entire Warren Warbots program. As the team looks ahead to the remainder of the season, these achievements serve as both a celebration of what has already been accomplished and motivation to continue pushing the limits. We are SO proud of all of our Bears and the best robotics coach around, Mr. Aaron Tostado – we are SO lucky you’re at Warren!
