Warren High School is proud to announce that it has earned two major distinctions from the College Board for the 2025 academic year, recognizing the school’s continued commitment to academic excellence and expanded access to college‑level learning. This year, Warren High School was named to the 2025 AP School Honor Roll and awarded the Bronze distinction, celebrating the school’s dedication to broadening participation and supporting student success in Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

These honors highlight schools that actively welcome more students into rigorous, college‑aligned coursework and provide the structures necessary for them to thrive. At Warren High School, AP growth is not just about enrollment numbers—it reflects a deeper school‑wide effort to cultivate a college‑focused culture where all students feel encouraged and empowered to challenge themselves academically.

According to the College Board, students who participate in AP courses are significantly more likely to attend college, graduate on time, and feel better prepared for the demands of higher education. AP participation can also lead to substantial financial benefits: students who earn qualifying scores may receive college credit, reducing tuition costs and shortening the time required to complete a degree. Even when credit is not awarded, the experience of engaging with college‑level material builds essential skills—such as critical thinking, time management, and academic confidence—that position students for future success.

This recognition reflects the collective effort of the entire Warren High School community. Teachers have demonstrated exceptional dedication in developing rigorous, engaging AP instruction; counselors and administrators have worked diligently to expand access and remove barriers; and families have encouraged students to take on new academic challenges. Most importantly, Warren High School students themselves have embraced the opportunity to push their limits, pursue their goals, and believe in their potential.

Warren High School remains committed to growing its AP program, strengthening student support systems, and fostering an environment where every student can envision a future full of possibility. These recognitions serve as both a celebration of progress and an inspiration for continued achievement.
