Our College & Career Center is making a huge impact this year, helping students take charge of their futures and ensuring every senior has the support they need to access college financial aid. Through the statewide Race to Submit campaign, created by the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC), Warren seniors are stepping up to complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA)—a critical step that opens doors to higher education opportunities.
With Assembly Bill 469 (AB 469) now requiring all Seniors to complete a FAFSA or CADAA to graduate, the work of our College & Career Center team is more important than ever. Using real-time data dashboards, the team tracks application progress daily, identifying students who still need assistance and offering targeted, personalized support. Their outreach focuses especially on students who may be hesitant to ask for help, ensuring that every Bear has a fair shot at college funding.
The results are already impressive! Our College & Career Center team has helped hundreds of students complete their applications, reduce stress around financial aid, and take confident steps toward their post-high school goals. Their approach isn’t just transactional—it’s intentional, supportive, and equity-focused, reflecting the heart of Warren.
The College & Career Center is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM in Room O1, ready to guide students through college options, career pathways, scholarships, and financial aid. Whether it’s a first-time FAFSA filer or a senior finalizing applications, our team is here to make the process smooth, accessible, and empowering.
