Warren High School’s Culinary Arts students, along with about 30 other volunteers, provided meals for over 500 first responders during the 2025 LA Fires. Using their food truck, the students served firefighters, paramedics, and emergency personnel working to contain the wildfires.

Led by Culinary Arts instructor Johnny Zegarra, the students extended their skills beyond the classroom to assist those in need. Their participation emphasized the role of culinary education in community service.

First responders expressed appreciation for the meals, which provided sustenance during their demanding shifts. The effort highlighted the impact of student-led initiatives in times of crisis.

As recovery efforts continue, the contributions of Warren High’s Culinary Arts students remain a notable example of community support.
