UPDATES AT A GLANCE -AVID 12 families attended a financial aid night presentation by WHS AVID alum and director of GEAR UP at Cal State Fullerton, Mr. Lester Larios on the intricacies regarding paying for college. -Thank you to our AVID 12 teachers, Raquel Perez, Jasmin Gamboa, and Mark Schiavo for helping seniors complete their FAFSA or CA Dream Act Applications in December. -Our AVID Junior Night was held this month. Thank you to AVID 11 teachers and Chris Membribes for hosting and to the families who attended. -Congratulations to AVID Seniors who submitted college applications to UCs, CSUs, and private universities in November!
