Jacquie, a very shy young woman, began her high school education at Warren and realized she had accidentally been scheduled for drama instead of biology. She tried to sit in the back of the room, in hopes no one would notice her, but her drama teacher saw something in her that he slowly cultivated, and brought her out of her shell. With the confidence, her drama teacher instilled in her, she attended college and received her credential in theatre. In 1969, she was hired to teach drama at Warren, and shared her passion for theatre for 33 years.
