Shadow Days at Downey Unified offer future high school students a firsthand look at what learning looks like at Downey and Warren High. This immersive experience allows students to step onto campus, explore programs, and connect with the school community in a meaningful way.

Students won’t just observe; they’ll experience. From hands-on Career Technical Education (CTE) demonstrations to advanced academic programs, Shadow Days are designed to show students what’s possible when learning comes to life.

• Connect: Students will be placed in small groups and guided by a student ambassador. This is your opportunity to meet teachers and staff, ask questions about classes, programs, and student life, and connect with current students.
• Explore: Visit classrooms and learning spaces. Learn how academics connect to real-world skills and future careers.
• Experience: See CTE pathways in action through live demonstrations and interactive experiences. Explore advanced academic programs, including college-prep and specialized coursework.
