We are seeking to hire Senior Instructional Assistants to provide support to students with disabilities in a Special Education program.

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, utilizing tact, patience, and courtesy in their interactions.

This position works under the direction of an assigned supervisor in assisting a certificated teacher or specialist in providing behavioral support to students with challenging behaviors, collecting behavioral data, implementing behavior intervention plans, and utilizing behavioral strategies to support student progress toward Individual Education Program (IEP) goals. Senior Instructional Assistants also monitor, redirect, and de-escalate students during behavioral emergencies; assist in meeting specific student needs, which may include feeding and toileting students; and perform a variety of instructional, behavioral, and clerical duties as assigned.
