It is important to make a childcare plan in the event you cannot care for your child. Read through the Family Preparedness plan and fill out the form starting on page 13.

Page 16 of the Family Preparedness plan offers a form to document phone numbers, medical, and other important information for your child(ren).

Know Your Rights!
- All people, regardless of immigration status, have rights under the U.S. Constitution. The Immigrant Legal Resource Center’s (ILRC) Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations, such as when I.C.E. agents go to a home.
- When interrogated by federal immigration officials, you have the right to stay silent. Hand the Red Card to the officer and remember that you do not have to answer any questions
- Download printable Red Card available in 15 languages.
