We’re so grateful that you joined us for our Viking Showcase on March 12th! Whether rain or shine, we had an incredible time connecting with families and showcasing everything Downey High has to offer. 🎉
What was Viking Showcase all about?
This year’s Viking Showcase was a combination of Future Freshman Night and Open House, giving families the chance to explore the amazing programs, clubs, and sports at Downey High.
📢 The Freshman Presentation kicked off the evening at 5:30 PM in the gym
🎓 Classroom Visits & Campus Highlights took place from 6:30 – 8:00 PM, giving everyone a chance to explore our diverse offerings.
We also encouraged families to look ahead to next year! For those with 10th graders, there was a sneak peek into 11th-grade opportunities, including new CTE programs, AP Capstone presentations, a theatre performance, an art show, and so much more!
