- Apply Now!: CHS Local Scholarships Application due by January 31st
- Seniors complete the CHS Local Scholarships Application and submit it to your ELA Teacher
- ELA Teachers will submit applications to the school counselor. Please ask your ELA Teacher or school counselor about other scholarship opportunities.
Columbus HS Local Scholarship Timeline
- August CHS Local Scholarship opens
- January 31 CHS Local Scholarship Application Closes
- Week of February 3 Counselor prepares scholarship applications for donors
- February – April 24
- Donors review scholarship applications & coordinate interviews with CHS School Counselor (Mr. Trujillo, ptrujillo@dusd.net 562-904-3552 x5188
- Donors submit selected recipient names to counselor
- By April 24 – RSVP for the Senior Pride Awards with the CHS Office Manager (aestradasegoviano@dusd.net) at RSVP – CHS Pride Scholarships
- May 6 at 5 pm: Senior Pride Awards ceremony at City of Downey Theater
