Ms. Hassler is so excited for her second year as Vice Principal at Stauffer – she loves a good Spartie Party! Prior to being a Spartan, Ms. Hassler was an Assistant Principal at Downey High School, served as the Dean of Students, and was an English teacher. Her and her husband recently welcomed a baby boy and couldn’t be happier. Go Spartans!

Mr. Koenig started his career in education in 1999. He spent 7 years as an English teacher at La Mirada High School where he coached football and basketball and has been at Stauffer Middle School since 2006. While at Stauffer Mr. Koenig taught English 8 and was the Dean of Students for 9 years. He is very excited to be back as the Dean of Students after a 1 year break. Mr. Koenig has been happily married since 2001 and has a son (Nick-20) and a daughter (Gia-12). Outside of school, Mr. Koenig loves to spend quality time with his family and is dedicated to being the best husband and father. He also loves to travel, play pick up basketball, and root on his Fresno St. Bulldogs and San Francisco 49ers!!

This is Mr. Del Rio’s 14th year at Stauffer as the 7th Grade Counselor, and he could not imagine being anywhere else. He grew up in Orange County and lives in Placentia with his wife, nephew and his two cats Pebbles and Piper. When he’s not counseling, he enjoys barbecuing, playing the drums and golfing with his friends.

Before counseling, Ms. Greer was a teacher. She is first generation in the U.S. and only spoke Spanish until she learned English with her friends and at school. She is a proud mother to twins, Alex and Ari (seniors in college), and her dog, Mimi. In her free time, she likes to try foods from different cultures, exercise, and sleep.
