Get ready to level up your excitement, our Stauffer Middle School ESports team, Spartan DNA, has clinched 1st place in the Rocket League District Championship Tournament! In an exciting final match against Sussman Middle School, our Spartans showcased incredible skill, teamwork, and strategy to secure the championship title – defeating the other three middle schools in Downey. Competing at a high level, our Spartans demonstrated precision, adaptability, and a winning mindset, proving that ESports is more than just a game it’s a platform for collaboration, critical thinking, and leadership.
A massive shoutout to Coach Michael Martin for his dedication to preparing our team for success! Mr. Martin’s guidance helped our Spartan students bring their A-game, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and commitment. Throughout the championship tournament, our Spartan DNA team only allowed ONE goal – incredible!
