A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for our presentation on the 2025–2026 IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) Community Project. Your support means so much as we guide our eighth graders through this important capstone experience.
The Community Project is a unique opportunity for students to connect their passions with purpose through service-learning. Working in small groups, they’ll identify real needs in our community (local or global), design meaningful projects, and take thoughtful action. Along the way, students will strengthen skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and reflection—culminating in the Community Project Exhibit, where they’ll proudly share their work.

As partners in this journey, families play an important role in supporting their child’s success—whether by staying connected with their project supervisor, offering expertise or resources, or simply celebrating their achievements. Most importantly, remember: this is a student-led project. Your encouragement and guidance help them grow into independent, confident, and compassionate changemakers.
We can’t wait to see the incredible projects our students create this year—thank you for being such a vital part of their learning journey!
