Doty Middle School recently held its Spring AVID Banquet, a special evening dedicated to recognizing the hard work and achievements of its AVID students. The event brought together students, families, and staff to celebrate academic growth, perseverance, and college readiness, with awards presented to honor their accomplishments.
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college and career readiness program designed to support students in reaching their full academic potential through rigorous coursework, organizational strategies, and a supportive learning environment.
