Graduation Ceremony
Wednesday, June 1, 2022 – Ceremony begins at 6:30 pm sharp!
Gates will open at 5:15 pm Bring CAP & GOWN. Spike heels are not allowed on the football field. Ticket required for entry; first come, first serve. Tickets will be distributed on May 25, 2022 from 10-12 pm at CHS. Enjoy the CHS graduation on Livestream at: www.youtube.com/c/downeyunified.

Grad Nite
Disney California Adventure Park (8:00 pm – 2:00 am). Tickets are on sale now. The price is $ 100.00 per ticket. Bus pick up and drop off is at Columbus High School’s front office area (flag pole).
Attire for Graduation
This is a very special occasion; the dress code should be semi-formal and follow the DUSD CHS dress code policy. Spike heels are not allowed on the football field.
Diplomas
Diplomas will be available for sign-out directly to the student or parent/guardian starting on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Columbus High School Office. ID required
Report Cards will be mailed by the Downey Unified School District office.
Yearbooks – $25.00
Pre-sale on the school website or at the CHS office after school. They will also be sold at the Graduation Ceremony. Pick up your pre-ordered yearbook in the Cafeteria on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 10-12 pm.
Cap and Gown – $35.00
Extra Tassels – $16.00
Purchase your purple cap & gown with a gold 2022 tassel at the CHS main office ASAP. Pre-orders are available for pickup on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 10-12 pm.
Senior Distribution Day
Wednesday, May 25, 2022 10:00 – 12:00 pm at the CHS Cafeteria. All DUSD technology must be returned in order to receive cap & gown, yearbook, and graduation tickets.
