As we head into the holiday break, we want to thank our Warren families, students, and staff for an incredible semester. Winter break will be observed from December 19 through January 4, with students returning on Monday, January 5 for a late start Blue Day. We hope this time brings rest, connection, and joy as we look ahead to an exciting new year at Warren.
LEAD is a year-long elective designed specifically for seniors, giving them the opportunity to explore careers through real-world conversations with professionals from a variety of industries. This course is perfect for students who are still figuring out what comes after high school, offering them space to ask questions, hear honest stories about success and setbacks, and begin imagining their own future paths. Through an impactful guest speaker series and meaningful discussions, students gain insight, confidence, and a broader view of what is possible beyond graduation.

Warren’s Bear Battalion is building confident, capable leaders who serve with heart. Cadets log thousands of community service hours, compete in high-energy Raider challenges, explore robotics and drone technology, and take pride in presenting colors at school and community events. With no military obligation, students join to grow, lead, and make a real impact on campus and beyond.
Downey Unified’s Dual Enrollment Program gives high school students the chance to earn college credit before graduation. Through a partnership with Cerritos College, students can take free college courses that count toward both their high school diploma and college degree—saving time, money, and getting a head start on their future.
