The holiday season is a time for family, togetherness, and joy. But for some families in our community, it can be a difficult time. The TLC Family Resource Center’s Adopt-a-Family Holiday Program helps bring the magic of the holidays to children in need.
How You Can Help
Make a difference for a local family this Thanksgiving or Christmas! By participating, you’ll be providing a family with a delicious holiday meal, gifts for the children, and other essentials that many families struggle to afford.
- Thanksgiving: Help provide a delicious meal with turkey, ham, side dishes, and desserts. Gift cards to grocery stores are also welcome.
- Christmas: Spread holiday cheer with a festive meal, a Christmas tree, gifts for the children, clothing, shoes, household items, and gift cards. Gas cards can also be a big help for families during this busy time.
It’s Easy to Get Involved
- Choose a Holiday: Would you like to adopt a family for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or both?
- Complete the Interest Form and submit it by the deadline
- Call TLC to Follow Up: Once you’ve submitted your form, give call TLC at (562) 904-3577 to confirm. We’ll be happy to answer any questions and provide additional details about the program.
- Thanksgiving Deadline: Friday before the holiday
- Christmas Deadline: Friday before the holiday
