Research at the Library

There are many resources you can use at the SMS Library to conduct research for your project. Use the library catalog (Sussman Library) or ask Ms. Powers for assistance. We also have access to online databases, which are the most reliable and accurate resources available.

See Ms. Powers if you do not remember the user name and password.

OWL

Online Writing Lab (OWL)

MLA is a way of formatting your written work and citing your sources. Although there are other styles, your teachers at DUSD will most likely ask you to use MLA format. A great resource is published online from the OWL at Purdue University.

Ebooks & Audio Books

Sussman students and staff have access to two different platforms for borrowing ebooks and audiobooks. For each platform, you can download the app for free from any app store directly onto your devices, such as a reader, smartphone, or tablet. See Ms. Powers if you have any questions about downloading free ebooks and audiobook.
