Message from the Principal

Greetings Mighty Mustang Families!

I wanted to take this moment to shout out some amazing RSG staff members who will be retiring at the end of this school year. They mean very much to our school community and the hard work they have committed to and the lives they have transformed have left and will continue to leave a lasting legacy. We could not be any prouder or more humbled to serve with these amazing individuals!

Ms. Hoekter (4th grade) has served for 30 years, Mrs. Walker (Kindergarten) for 38 years, Mrs. Aguirre (1st grade) for 36 years, Ms. Gibson (1st grade) for 34 years, Mrs. Mucho (2nd) for 36 years, Mrs. Mrkonic (5th) for 37 years, and Mrs. Mcintosh (Senior Instructional Assistant) for 33 years. That is a total of 244 years of teaching service to students. WOW! To think of this many years in teaching is mind blowing and truly understanding the impact these years have had on students is awesome! This equates to about 6500 students who have been impacted by these RSG staff members There is a quote that says, “Service is what life is all about. Great acts are made up of small deeds. Goodness is the only investment that never fails. As we serve others we are working on ourselves; every act, every word, every gesture of genuine compassion naturally nourishes our own hearts as well.” I see this in each of these staff members. They have served our community well. They have demonstrated goodness in the lives of thousands of students.

They have worked on bettering others and themselves. They have shown compassion and have had their lives blessed by their acts of kindness. They leave education with confidence that they left a powerful legacy.

Please join me in congratulating these staff members for a career well lived and a job well done! We love and appreciate each of you!
