Meet the team: Mrs. Cagolla, Ms. McCollough, Mrs. Kacou, Mrs. Yee, Mrs. Charlton, and Mrs. Dubei
Our 2nd Grade Team, at Lewis Elementary School, believes in each and every one of our students! Students thrive and flourish in our learning environments while being challenged each and every day. Great cultures are built with positive, contagious energy, and this team commits to this belief consistently. When you walk into our classrooms, you see our students engaged in making meaning from stories and discovering the world through reading. In addition, our 2nd-grade students work so hard with their informational writing and their 21st Century Skills shine bright! Way to go “All-stars!”
Favorite Things about Teaching 2nd Grade:
We love our wonderful team and incredible students. Second-grade students get excited about school, learning, and their teachers. We love watching our children learn new skills. Our students’ enthusiasm to try new things, especially with technology is exciting. Second graders are still innocent and they believe! Teaching 2nd grade has been so exciting, our students keep us feeling young, and we can even be silly with them.

Running, cooking, crafts, going to Disneyland with family, watching children’s sports games, eating dessert, going to new restaurants and eating, VEGAS, watching my boys play baseball (Baseball Mom), watching shows on Netflix, eating out with family, traveling, watching the food network (but I don’t cook), spending time with family and friends, sleeping, working out, hanging out with my twins and watching them discover the world!
