As our 5th grade elementary families prepare for middle school, we invite you to learn about the IB (International Baccalaureate) MYP (Middle Years Programme) at Sussman Middle School.
All 5th graders in Downey Unified have the opportunity to apply, and yes, space is limited. The program application window is open now until March 1, 2024.
We encourage you to attend an information session hosted by Sussman to learn more about this fantastic learning experience, which will challenge your students and truly prepare them to develop the skills needed for the 21st century.

For the application, you will need the following:
4th Grade, 3rd trimester (end of year) report card that shows both grades and behavior/citizenship
We encourage you to have this document ready prior to starting the application process so you can easily upload the necessary documents.
Admissions results will be communicated via email directly from Sussman staff prior to Spring Break (March 28-April 5)
