Meal Distribution Information

Beginning on June 7th, we will be participating in the Seamless Summer Food Service Program, providing free breakfast and lunch to ALL children ages 18 and younger during the summer school session.

Meal distributions at the elementary campuses will be Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am until July 2. Meals can be picked up via drive-thru or walk-up at Gauldin, Lewis, Rio Hondo and Unsworth elementary schools, and at Alameda Elementary via walk-up only.

Meal distributions at Stauffer Middle School and Downey and Warren high schools will be available Monday through Thursday only during the summer session from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with no distribution on Fridays.  Meals will be available at Stauffer Middle School until July 9 and at Downey and Warren high schools until July 15.

A “weekend’s worth” of meals will be provided on Thursdays at all our meal distribution locations. Meals will also not be distributed on July 5 in observance of the July 4th holiday.

**A drive-thru or walk-up option is not available at Columbus High School or Doty, Griffiths, and Sussman middle schools as meals will only be available for those students who are attending summer school in-person.

For any questions regarding the Seamless Summer Food Program, please contact the Food Services Department at 562-469-6674 or 562-469-6670.
