Please take note of our upcoming schedule changes, key deadlines, and office hours as we wrap up the current school year and prepare for the next.

📅 Key Milestones & School Dates

  • Thursday, June 4: Last Day of School
  • Wednesday, July 1: Mandatory Annual Verification Begins
  • Thursday, August 13: First Day of School (2026–2027)

🏢 Enrollment & Verification Help Center

Need assistance with enrolling a new student or completing your mandatory annual verification? Our dedicated help center is here to assist you.

  • Dates: Monday, June 22 – Friday, August 7
  • Location: District Office
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

🏫 School Site Office Hours

Standard school offices will temporarily close for the first part of the summer and reopen ahead of the new school year.

  • Friday, June 5: School Offices Close for Summer
  • Monday, July 27 – Wednesday, August 12: School Offices Re-open
    • Morning Hours: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
    • Afternoon Hours: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
    • Note: School offices operate Monday through Friday.

🗺️ Summer School Dates

Elementary STEAMworks

  • Dates: June 9 – July 7*
  • Hours: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Hosting School Sites: Gallatin, Gauldin, Lewis (GLAD strand), and Price Elementary Schools

🛑 Summer Holiday Closures

In observance of summer holidays, all district and school offices will be completely closed on the following dates:

  • Friday, June 19: Juneteenth Holiday
  • Friday, July 3: Independence Day Holiday (Observed)

TLC 5K Race Registration Opens Nov. 1

True Lasting Connections (TLC) provides a range of health and human services free of charge to DUSD students and their families. This event is a great opportunity to come together to show support for families in our community.
