Downey Unified schools will celebrate School Lunch Hero Day on May 5 to celebrate DUSD school nutrition professionals.

If you have a future Downey Unified middle schooler passionate about singing, dancing, and acting, find out more about this free program. 

Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways and programs allow Downey Unified students career exploration as part of a standard school day.

Learning how to manage stress is essential for all individuals, including children, to lead healthier lifestyles. Doing so can also result in better overall mental and physical well-being.

It is now time for the 2024 I Love My School Lunch Hero contest. Students, teachers, and school employees can submit a short video (30-90 seconds) celebrating the hard work, care, and dedication of their School Lunch Hero! The deadline for submission is Friday, April 12, 2024.

Students who participate in PE not only receive various health benefits, they also learn social skills, self-discipline, and more.
