There are many ways that STEAM is tied into daily education in Downey Unified. The most prevalent is in robotics. All our students, TK through 12th grade, have access to various age-appropriate, project-based activities that allow our students to design, build, and program robots. Not only can our students learn beneficial engineering skills, but they can also gain essential skills to help them in everyday life, including teamwork, perseverance, communication, collaboration, project management, and critical thinking.
