We Achieve More As a Team
What is a Community Advisory Committee (CAC)?
The CAC consists of parents and professionals working together to provide input in an advisory capacity to the SELPA in the review and development of the local plan for special education.
Community Advisory Committee meetings occur quarterly and are open to the public. Every meeting has a planned agenda which includes a question and answer forum.
What can the CAC do for me?
- Provide information about current and/or future programs and legislation affecting special education

- Host networking opportunities with other concerned parents
- Develop parent-professional collaboration
