Art Design at Griffiths enables students to create two dimensional and three-dimensional works of art throughout the semester. Art-making tools and instruction is designed for beginner artists but can be designed to be more challenging for the advanced artist. With art creation and the communication of ideas being the central focus areas, students will work in mediums like pen and ink, colored pencils, pastels, watercolor, tempera and acrylic paint as well as clay, woodworking and scratchart.
