Dear Gauldin Families,
I am excited for the new year at Gauldin, we have many activities planned for the rest of the school year for 2020.
*Our students have STEAM every other week for 90 minutes and are working on art projects, coding and Project Lead The Way assignments. The STEAM team of teachers do a great job of keeping our students engaged in all of the activities, we are lucky to have such a strong group of teachers.
*Coffee with the Principal will be Friday, January 17, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in the Gauldin Cafeteria and we will have a guest speaker Dr. Robert Jagielski, Director of Wellness and Engagement (Student Services). Dr. Robert Jagielski will go over the safety of schools and answer any concerns or questions the community might have.
*Our first Family Friday will be February 21, 2020, from 8:30-9:15 a.m. Come read with your child and then learn about the reading strategies students are using during Guided Reading time in the classroom.
