Our second-grade classes culminated their first unit of study, Who We Are, by dressing up like the heroes they studied in class or researched at home.
The second-grade students have been learning about how one’s actions can inspire change around the world. The students discussed the meaning of a hero, investigated the traits that make up a hero, explored and researched various heroes around the world, and created videos and images presenting their heroes in class using a green screen.
The students were very excited to share all of their new learning and were encouraged to take action and empower the world around them!
