{"id":11474,"date":"2022-04-08T22:45:04","date_gmt":"2022-04-08T22:45:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.dusd.net\/warren\/?p=11474"},"modified":"2022-05-05T15:03:09","modified_gmt":"2022-05-05T15:03:09","slug":"fireworks-booth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.dusd.net\/warren\/2022\/04\/08\/fireworks-booth\/","title":{"rendered":"Fireworks Booth"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">June 30th &#8211; July 4th<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For the past\u00a0three decades, the Warren band boosters have been the proud sponsors of one of 17 fireworks stands in the city of Downey.\u00a0 We are fortunate and thankful that we continue to receive this opportunity.\u00a0 The funds raised during this event help us have a successful marching band season year after year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Committee Chairs:<\/strong>&nbsp;TBD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Buyout: $150<\/strong>&nbsp;If you donate the buyout amount both the student and parent is exempt from the fundraiser and will be considered completed for letter credit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do students do?<\/strong><br>1. Sell a minmum of 10 persale coupons. (each coupon is worth $10 which equals $100)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. All unsold coupons must be returned on June 29th. If student misplaces or looses the coupons, they will have to pay for them. These coupons are just like cash!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Students cannot work in the booth unless they are 18 years old.<strong>What do parents do?<\/strong><br>1. Help their child sell the presale coupons.2. Work 2 retail shifts OR 1 4th of July Shift (shifts are about 4 hours long each)<br>3. To sign up to volunteer, please go to the charms calendar and pick a date and time!
