Unified Sports is a program inspired by a basic principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. In this program, students with and without intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to participate and compete against other schools in cheer, basketball, flag football, soccer, CIF Unified Track, and CIF Swim.<\/p>\n

There are equal number of students with and without intellectual disabilities on the competing team. The rules of the sports are all the same and the only difference may be in modifications of the size and weight of equipment.<\/p>\n

This is an empowering program for youth leaders, educators, and families looking to build an inclusive school and community.<\/p>\n
