Through the study of literature and engaging, current and relevant informational material designed by the University of California system, the Warren High School English Department gives our students the knowledge and skills essential to participate in a diverse world that is inclusive and evolving.<\/p>\n

Warren High\u2019s English curriculum is based on the California Common Core State Standards which details what students should know and be able to do in each subject in each grade.<\/p>\n

Our curriculum covers short stories, poetry, novels and informational materials\/non-fiction through the UC\u2019s Expository Reading and Writing Course (ERWC) program. Students will learn about argumentative and literary essays, research and analytical writing.<\/p>\n
