Our students navigate through rigorous topics and must learn to maintain a good balance in their lives. Take a look at some examples of what our IB students are learning and doing on an average day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Math and Science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>Math and science &#8211; all in one! Our IB MYP students discuss probability, percentages, and more to understand genetics and how hereditary traits work. Learning subjects concurrently is part of the IB model. We&#8217;ve often heard someone say they are learning math skills they will never use in their real life. In IB, math and science are not separate subjects but are brought together for a more applicable use. Learning a second language stimulates the brain to develop higher-level reasoning skills. These skills are also needed for complex critical thinking in math, science and language arts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n https:\/\/youtu.be\/Jsm3KpAbbYE\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">P.E.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p>Critical thinking, collaboration, and action in P.E. with Ms. Regan and Ms. Lee!
