They are accustomed to seeking and evaluating a range of points of view, and are willing to grow from the experience. An <strong>open-minded<\/strong> student knows that all people are different. They listen to the points of view of others and consider many possibilities before making a decision. They celebrate the differences that make all people unique. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Teaching perspectives and helping your students to view their life with an open mind gives students the ability to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>embrace different points of view<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>listen to and consider the perspectives of others before making a decision<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>understand new ideas and experiences broaden their mind and challenge their thinking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>understanding mistakes or failures leads to learning <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be an effective team player and collaborator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be fair and objective, building trust with others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>handle constructive feedback<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An open-minded person will understand and admit that they don\u2019t know everything and can grow and learn from their mistakes.
