Femineer Program<\/h1>\n

The Femineer Program was created by Cal Poly Pomona\u2019s College of Engineering<\/a> in 2013 to inspire additional females to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in their education and career.<\/span><\/p>\n

This highly creative program provides 7th and 8th grade students with project-based learning, female engineering student mentors and opportunities to visit Cal Poly Pomona, while building a sustainable program and community for current and future STEM leaders.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our students participate in two modules: Creative Robotics<\/strong> and Wearable Technology<\/strong>, both of which engage participants through highly creative, hands-on activities. By engaging with real-world applications, our Femineers acquire the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to become confident and self-assured in both themselves and their abilities.<\/span><\/p>\n
