Service and Action<\/h3>\n

Service Learning \/ Service as Action in the Units will happen in every class, building a connection to the world beyond the classroom and giving students the opportunity to give back to the local or global community.<\/p>\n

IB MYP projects are informed by respected models of service learning and provide stepping stones toward the Diploma Programme\u2019s core requirements for Creativity, Action and Service (CAS).<\/p>\n

What is the IB MYP Community Project?<\/h2>\n

In eighth grade, students in the IB MYP take on the Capstone Project. It is a student-led, service-learning experience designed to connect passion with purpose. Working in small groups, students identify a real need within their local or global community, then move through the stages of investigation, planning, action, and reflection. This project not only empowers students to explore their personal interests but also inspires them to make a meaningful impact through service as action.<\/p>\n
