It focuses on teaching students how to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stay organized with their schoolwork<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take better notes and study effectively<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask meaningful questions and think critically<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with classmates and build confidence in their learning<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Think of AVID as a toolkit for success, helping students not just get through school, but really thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who Benefits from AVID?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>AVID is designed for <strong>all students<\/strong>, from elementary through high school. It\u2019s especially powerful for students who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are motivated to do well but need extra support learning <em>how<\/em> to learn<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Want to prepare for college and career opportunities<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Would benefit from learning strategies to stay on top of assignments, time management, and study habits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is simple: give every student, no matter their starting point, the tools and confidence to achieve their dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How Does It Help?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students in AVID classrooms often see improvements in their grades, feel more confident speaking up in class, and develop stronger habits that will serve them well in high school, college, and future careers.
