All students must submit an application that contains end-of-year 4th grade grades and citizenship, attendance record, and a letter of recommendation from at least 1 teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The program application window will open from January 15 until February 14, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is the IB programme different?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The IB Programme encourages critical thinking, global awareness, and the development of essential life skills like communication and research, preparing students for academic success in high school and beyond. Its rigorous curriculum encourages students to see connections between different subjects, fostering a holistic understanding of the world. If you already have one, you will need to \u201clog in\u201d. We encourage you to use an email address you use frequently as this will be where all communications will go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select IB Candidate School \u2014 Sussman to begin the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the application, you will need the following:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>4th Grade, 3rd trimester (end of year) report card that shows both grades and behavior\/citizenship and a minimum of one teacher recommendation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage you to have this document ready before starting the application process so you can easily upload the necessary documents.
