Anatomy and Physiology is a D designated A-G college elective course which satisfies your one year of life science with a laboratory. Prerequisites for this class would be successfull completion of biology (or honors biology) and chemistry (or honors chemistry). If you are planning on attending a UC or Cal State University they will want to see a minimum of three years of a science course. This course is designed to explore the systems comprising the human body by emphasizing physiological mechanism and a thorough understanding of human anatomy.
