Welcome to the 2020\/2021 School Year! I know that the First Day of School this year looks quite different than what any of us would like, but at Gallatin and in Downey Unified, with your help and support, we are going to make this the BEST Distance Learning experience possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At Gallatin, we hold traditions close to our hearts, those of you who are continuing families know that there are traditions that we participate in every year starting on the first day of school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During a typical school year, on the first day of school at Gallatin, we gather our students by our Gallatin Bell and the teachers \u201cRing In\u201d the school year, at the end of the school year we have our 5th graders \u201cRing Out\u201d the year during our Bell Ringing Ceremony. This year we kept the tradition alive by “ringing in” the 2020\/2021 School Year.
