{"id":6714,"date":"2024-06-05T13:54:54","date_gmt":"2024-06-05T20:54:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.dusd.net\/foodservices\/?p=6714"},"modified":"2024-06-05T14:13:02","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T21:13:02","slug":"wholesome-creations-cooking-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.dusd.net\/foodservices\/blog\/2024\/06\/05\/wholesome-creations-cooking-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Wholesome Creations Cooking Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our middle school culinary students and enthusiasts recently competed in the Wholesome Creations competition, thanks to a generous donation from the Dairy Council of California&#8217;s Let&#8217;s Eat Healthy Initiative, awarded to Griffiths Middle School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of the educational event was to take a classic favorite, like mac and cheese, and have the students give it a healthy spin. This is not unlike the challenge that our Food Service team takes on when coming up with nutritional, healthy, and tasty entrees for our students.
