American Heart Month encourages us to think about our cardiovascular well-being and to make healthier choices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve collected some facts and recommendations for keeping kids heart-healthy, along with some additional resources for recipes and activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Heart Health Facts &amp; Recommendations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A high-fat diet can cause heart disease.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heart.org\/en\/healthy-living\/healthy-eating\/eat-smart\/nutrition-basics\/dietary-recommendations-for-healthy-children\" target=\"_blank\">American Heart Association recommends<\/a> children between two and three only intake fat in 30 to 35% of their calories.
