We collect information directly from you on this website from the RSVP form.

USE OF INFORMATION

We will use your information to meet your expectations and give you a great experience at the Mariachi Festival. For example, ensuring we have enough space, give away items, and resources, and to inform you about details of the Mariachi Festival.

You may also receive periodic, about once a month, emails regarding other programs and opportunities at Downey Unified School District.

SHARING OF INFORMATION

The information collected on this website and during the Mariachi Festival will be shared with the Downey Unified School District marketing company for the exclusive uses stated above.  We will never sell or give away your personal information.

PROTECTING CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will promptly delete that information. If you believe that a child under age 13 may have provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us as specified in the “How to contact us” section of this policy.

PRIVACY POLICY UPDATES

We may need to update our Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified in your account) or by means of posting a notice on this website prior to the change becoming effective.

PHOTO/VIDEO CONSENT AND RELEASE

I hereby authorize Downey Unified School District, its trustees, officials, directors, officers, employees, and agents to utilize photographs and videos taken at the Mariachi Festival for use by the Downey Unified School District in print, online and video-based marketing materials, as well as other publications on behalf of the district.

I hereby release and hold harmless, Downey Unified School District, its trustees, officials, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality for photographs and videos taken at the Mariachi Festival. These images will be used to solely promote the school district in a positive manner. 

I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that there will be no compensation associated with the taking of these photographs or participation in Downey Unified marketing materials or publications.

I hereby release Downey Unified, its contractors, its employees and any third parties involved in the creation or publication of Downey Unified School District publications, from liability in connection with my participation or the participation in the Mariachi Festival.
